Carolyn Streit-Roehrig, age 68 of Harrison, OH passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at her residence.  Born May 12, 1945 she was the daughter of Joseph & Bethuma Streit.  After graduation from Harrison High she went on to the University of Cincinnati and Antioch University where she earned a Bachelors of Science and a Masters Degree in Arts.  Carolyn retired from the Department of Energy as a Human Resouce Specialist.  She was very active in the Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church as well as a member of Women in the Outdoors, Federally Employed Women, Mediation Council and the William Henry Harrison High School Alumni Association.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters Eve (Carlos) Pierre of Northville, Michigan and Anna (Steve) Capenos of Dayton, Ohio.  She will be missed by her grandchildren Elle Pierre and Ava Pierre and her siblings Joann (Charles) Koch of Brookville, Indiana, Joyce (Francis) Lake of Cedar Grove, Indiana, Joseph Streit III of Aubruny, Indiana and Gus (Gail) Streit of Batesville, Indiana.  In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her son Aaron Loos.

Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2014 from 3-5 PM followed by funeral services at 5:00 PM at Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Barthel officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church or the William Henry Harrison High School Alumni Association in care of Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, Ohio.
